Wigwam Opens Tennis & Fitness Pro Shop

A new boutique offering the latest fitness apparel and equipment has landed at The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa.

Catering to local tennis players, athletes and casual exercisers, The Wigwam Tennis and Fitness Boutique is the first shop of its kind in the Southwest Valley.

The new shop offers equipment such as racquets and tennis balls, as well as the latest in tennis apparel, and active wear for adults and children. The boutique offers clothing from Tail Tech, Bälle de Mätch and Camp David, as well as equipment from top tennis manufacturers Wilson and Penn Head.

Outside of the merchandise, The Wigwam Tennis and Fitness Boutique offers an array of services for tennis players, include re-stringing and re-gripping, and the staff can assist with outfitting local tennis leagues with custom uniform orders.

“Our new boutique is the perfect addition for both the casual athlete and the die-hard tennis player,” said Marge Miller, recreation manager for The Wigwam. “It’s a one stop shop for the latest equipment, clothing and accessories.”

The Wigwam Tennis & Fitness Boutique is open daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and can be reached by phone at 623-935-3811.

The boutique will now complement The Wigwam’s Tennis Center, home to nine lighted courts, including a center Stadium Court. The Tennis Center is open to guests and local residents and offers equipment rental, stringing, video analysis and ball machine usage. Additionally, a new Recreation Membership has been added at The Wigwam, which includes unlimited use of the resort’s tennis courts, access to the state-of-the-art fitness center, all aerobics classes and use of The Wigwam’s Main Pool. After an initiation fee of $450, prices range from $95 per month for a Junior Membership, $125 per month for a Single Membership and $200 per month for a Family Membership.
