Fitness Center |
The new Fitness Center, opened in 2006, includes a movement studio for group fitness classes as well as an exercise room highlighting a 16 piece workout station that features Nautilus Nitro Plus Equipment and free weights to work all muscle areas. Take advantage of the cardiovascular equipment with individual audio-visual stations and headsets to complete your workout. The Fitness Center is also staffed with certified fitness professionals that are available to maximize your workout while away from home. The movement studio holds several group fitness classes such as yoga, pilates and cardio. Use of the fitness facilities is available for resort guests for a daily fee of $15. |
Tennis |
Private, semi-private and group lessons with racquet rentals and ball machines are available through the Tennis Club. We have 9 plexi-paved illuminated courts for late evening tennis plus a 350-seat stadium court for celebrity matches or team events. |
The Wigwam Tennis and Fitness Boutique |
The Wigwam is proud to announce the grand opening of the Tennis & Fitness Boutique, located in our Tennis Center. The long-awaited shop is the first pro shop of its kind in Phoenix's West Valley. The Tennis & Fitness Boutique not only features the latest in tennis apparel, but also has a unique selection of Wigwam logoed activewear for adults and children. In addition to carrying tennis equipment and accessories, the knowledgeable Tennis Center staff can also assist with outfitting local tennis leagues with custom uniform orders. |

The Wigwam is proud to be the Official Spring Training Resort of The Kansas City Royals, and Greater Phoenix plays host to nine major league baseball teams each spring as part of the Cactus League. The San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals and the Anaheim Angels conduct their spring training here in the Phoenix area while the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and Chicago White Sox train in Tucson.
